Greetings to all of you!
Spring is the most gorgeous and magical season of a year. The coldness and snow mantle of winter melt away under the bright sunshine in March. Everything comes back to life to herald a new era. We also look forward to the exciting changes in daily life.
Throughout the ages, women, hailed as “Crown of the Creator” by the poets, are also a symbol of life and source of beauty and inspiration. It is gentle mother that comforts each of us with caring hands, shields each of us from the hardships in life, and directs the way to truth, goodness and justice.
Year of 2020 is particularly special and of great significance for women “who can hold up half the sky”. This year, the 25th Anniversary of Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action will be grandly celebrated, which were adopted at the Fourth World Conference on Women. Beijing Declaration makes important contributions to safeguarding and defending the worldwide women’s rights and gender equality. Gender equality is the most important human right, and it plays an important role in underpinning social peace and solidarity and fully realizing human potential on the basis of stable development.
At present, people all over the world are encountered with a severe challenge—infectious diseases caused by Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (COVID-19). We hereby express our deep-felt sympathy to the Chinese people attacked by such lethal virus. The Kyrgyz side not only speaks highly of the Chinese Government’s great efforts for preventing the spread of infectious disease and lethality, but also expresses its admiration for strong will of the Chinese people. As a good neighbor, good friend and good partner of the Chinese people, the Kyrgyz side has provided humanitarian assistance to the Chinese side. We believe that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, with the Chinese President Xi Jinping as its core leader, the Chinese people will be bound to win a victory in its battle against COVID-19. In addition, the important role of women in this tough battle must also be highlighted.
