Founded in November 1949, Beijing Women's Federation is a mass organization of women from all walks of life and of all nationalities in Beijing, and also a local organization of All-China Women's Federation.

Beijing Women's Federation practices an organizational system combined of 16 district (county) women's federations, 147 street women's federations, 182 town women's federations, 2719 community women's federations, 3941 village women's federations, and 18 women's groups and 6 seminars.

Represent and safeguard women’s rights and interests, and promote the equality between men and women. Undertake the task of uniting, educating, representing, serving and mobilizing the women in the capital.

Responsibilities:
To oversee the general work of BWF and its Leading Party Members’ Group.To be in charge of the work of the Office of Beijing Municipal Working Committee on Children and Women.
Zhao HongweiDeputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice-President of the BWF
Responsibilities:
To be in charge of work related to personnel and retirees, grassroots organization construction, Party building, labor union and women’s studies.To be in charge of the work of BWF’s General Office, Department for Grassroots Organization Construction and Party Committee (Department for Party Building Work).To manage and guide the work of Beijing Women’s Development Research Center.
Lei XiaoningMember of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice-President of the BWF
Responsibilities:
To be in charge of work related to general coordination, funds management, exchanges and communications, united front work, women’s development, regional cooperation and assistance.To be in charge of the work of BWF’s General Office, Liaison Department and Department for Women’s Development.To manage and guide the work of Beijing Women’s International Center.
Chen YanpingMember of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Vice-President of the BWF
Responsibilities:
To be in charge of work related to family and children and the work of Department for Family and Children’s Affairs.To assist BWF’s President in overseeing the work of the Office of Beijing Municipal Working Committee on Children and Women.To manage and guide the work of Beijing Women and Children’s Service Center.To guide the work of Beijing Women and Children’s Development Foundation.
Du ChunxiaoMember of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the BWF
Responsibilities:
To be in charge of the work related to women’s federations’ participation in social development and the development of women-oriented social organizations.To be in charge of the work of BWF’s Social Work Department.To manage and guide the work of Beijing Women Cadres School.

Responsibilities:
To be in charge of work related to publicity and protection of women’s rights.To be in charge of the work of BWF’s Publicity Department and Legal Department.

To guide the work of BWF’s Publicity Department.
