Mao Yingying, Director and Senior Editor of the Commentary Department at Beijing Daily (Recommended by the Publicity Department of the Municipal Party Committee)

Mao Yingying, born in February 1982, is of Han Nationality and holds a bachelor’s degree. She is a member of the Communist Party of China and currently serves as the Director of the Commentary Department at Beijing Daily Press. Additionally, she is a senior editor and a member of the Editorial Board of Beijing Daily. Having spent 20 years in the news industry, she has dedicated her efforts to commentary for the Party newspaper, compiled and edited numerous significant commentaries. She has successfully led her department in developing commentary brands such as “Chang’an Observation”, “Scholars’ Opinions” and “Beijing Comments.” Through her organization and planning, she has published impactful, powerful and in-depth commentary articles that have frequently resulted in phenomenal products. By emphasizing value-driven perspectives, Mao has cultivated video commentary brands such as “I’ll Deliver News” and “New Anecdotes of Social Talk.” Her original works have received the China News Award six times and the first prize of the Beijing Journalism Award 15 times. She has been recognized as a “Young Talents in Propagating Ideology and Culture” and is among the National “Four Batch” Talents in the Propagating Ideological and Cultural System in Beijing. Furthermore, she has been honored with the Medal of March 8^th Red-Banner Pacesetters of Beijing for her contributions.
