Representatives of the federation’s member organizations gathered to celebrate their shared achievements and showcase the talents and spirit of women in the new era.

Lei Xiaoning extended festive greetings on behalf of the Beijing Women’s Federation. She noted that over the past year, member organizations had actively taken on responsibilities in areas such as protecting the rights and interests of women and children, promoting health and well-being, advancing technological innovation, and preserving cultural heritage, serving as a strong pillar supporting the federation’s work. She expressed hope that, in the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, participants would focus on the goal of high-quality development, apply their talents and share their expertise across various fields, and inject new vitality into the development of women’s and children’s programs in the capital. She added that the Women’s Federation would continue to provide platforms for exchange, listen to suggestions and voices from women’s groups, and bring together their collective strength to address practical concerns and solve challenges faced by women and children.

During the event, representatives from various women’s groups organized a lively series of cultural performances, including dance, poetry recitation, choral singing, traditional opera, martial arts, and drama, showcasing the talent and elegance of women in the capital. An intangible cultural heritage (ICH) craft activity was also arranged, where participants hand-sewed lively horse ornaments symbolizing “taking the lead,” expressing new hopes for the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period through the spirit of craftsmanship.
In a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, participants engaged in warm exchanges. Many remarked that the event was filled with warmth and made them feel the care and support of the Women’s Federation as their “family home.” They pledged to continue moving forward together, harnessing the power of women to contribute to the capital’s high-quality development and to shine even more brightly on the new journey of the new era.
