Li Yanmei, Dean of Zhili College, and a professor in the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University (Recommended by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission)

Li Yanmei, born in November 1964, is of Han Nationality and holds a doctoral degree. She is a member of the Communist Party of China, and currently serves as the Dean of Zhili College, a professor in the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University. Previously, she held the position of Vice-chairman of the Beijing Association of Leading Women Professors. As a communication contact person, Li has published more than 200 scientific research papers in renowned domestic and international academic journals. Her patented achievements have been successfully applied in the research and development of new products by leading companies, including Qilu Pharmaceutical. Dedicated to education and teaching, she is also the head of national-level excellent courses and national-level excellent online open courses. Her exceptional teaching quality and commitment to students earned her the title of “My Favorite Teacher” in the first session of the university-wide election, with over ten thousand undergraduates voting for her. Her educational reform achievements were recognized with the second prize of the National-level Teaching Achievements. Additionally, she has been listed among the distinguished educators in the National Special Support Program for high-level Talents (the “Ten Thousand Talent Program for Prestigious Teachers”) and has been granted special government allowance. For her outstanding contributions, she has received numerous accolades, including the Outstanding Teacher Award for Universities and Colleges from the Ministry of Education, the Medal of March 8^th Red-Banner Pacesetters of Beijing, the title of “An Excellent Party Member in the Minds of the Masses” in Beijing and the first session of “Young Teacher Award” from the Ministry of Education.
