Li Ning, born in November 1980, is of Han Nationality and holds a college degree. She is a member of the Communist Party of China, and currently serves as the Squad Leader of the Generalized Pills Squad at the Yizhuang Branch of Beijing Tongrentang Group Co., Ltd. With over 20 years of experience in pill production, she has become a highly skilled and respected figure in the field of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Since the Chief Technician Studio was established in 2015, Li Ning has been dedicated to preserving traditional techniques for producing generalized pills. Combining her deep expertise with practical production challenges, she has conducted extensive research on key issues, including the mechanized production of Xihuang pills, the optimization of production processes for water-honeyed pills and the improvement of pill coating accessories. Her research achievements have been successfully applied in production, significantly enhancing both the quality and production capacity of medicines while reducing losses. Li Ning has actively participated in nationwide traditional Chinese medicine professional skill competitions and global traditional medicine conferences, showing the intangible cultural heritage techniques of making Xihuang Pills. For her outstanding contributions, she has received prestigious honors, including the Medal of March 8^th Red-Banner Pacesetters of Beijing and the title of Labor Model of Beijing.
