Qiao Hong

Qiao Hong is an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and head of the academys Institute of Automation's key national laboratory for multimodal artificial intelligence system. Qiao was the first director-general of the World Robot Cooperation Organization. She has made great contributions to the human-inspired decision making, perception, control and structural design of robots and she developed the concept of attractive region in environment (ARIE). She has won the second prize in the State Natural Science Award and the first prize in both the Beijing Science and Technology Award and the technological innovation awards of China Association of Automation.

In her speech at the forum, she talks about the development trend of artificial intelligence, the latest achievements in the research and development of robots, and humanity-based thinking about artificial intelligence.
