Beijing Promotes Rural Women's Start-ups, Innovation Project
Date:2018-4-30 16:54:31 Views:Pinggu Women's Federation recently held a meeting to promote the Rural Women's Start-ups and Innovation Project in Beijing to give full play to women's abilities in helping create employment and increase incomes.
Pinggu District has successfully applied for 11 start-ups and innovation projects including nine demonstration bases of the dual campaign, to be included into Beijing's Rural Women's Start-ups and Innovation Project list this year.
The persons in charge with Pinggu District Women's Federation put forward their four-point requirement.
First, all demonstration bases should carefully arrange their work, carry out each step effectively and ensure its success.
Second, project leaders must strengthen supervision on expenditure to guarantee that the money is used exclusively for specific purposes.
Moreover, leaders at all levels should strengthen project joint supervision and urge all parties concerned to perform their duties seriously to ensure smooth development of the project.
Furthermore, all bases should not only do their best to develop their own industries but take on their social responsibilities to help impoverished women and rebuild their confidence to escape poverty.
At present, Pinggu District has built 66 municipal-level demonstration bases, which were highly praised by party committees and governments at all levels, and warmly welcomed by all entrepreneurial women. The project has yielded great social and economic benefits.
