According to Zhang, AFTC has united female professors in the implementation of a lofty mission to nurture virtues and morality, holding up 'half of the sky' by cultivating talents, scientific research, social services, cultural inheritance and innovation. As a group member of the BWF, the association has made contributions to scientific progress and women's development, serving women's livelihoods, helping women college students reach their goals and promoting non-governmental exchanges in the capital.
Zhang hoped that the organization will adhere to a correct political direction, lead female professors to fulfill women's ambitions and promote gender equality, and encourage them to showcase women's power and beauty.
She said that BWF is willing to deepen cooperation and share resources with the association and to serve female professors, encouraging them to play unique roles in social and family life and unite more women to move ahead together for women's all-round development.
Zheng called on unremitting efforts to strengthen political leadership, cultivate virtues and morality, ensure contacts and services and beef up standardized management. Meanwhile, Party committees of all universities are expected to attach great importance to - and provide a strong guarantee for - the association's endeavors, by improving day-to-day guidance and branch construction.
Xiang stated that BIT will fully support the secretariat of the AFTC in boosting education, science and technology in Beijing and the whole country. He added that he hoped that the capital's female professors will become a pioneering force for women's development.
