On the morning of March 7, the Beijing Women’s Federation (BWF) hosted “Women’s Strength and Radiant Grace, Shining Across Time and Space,” a special event celebrating International Women’s Day, dedicated to women in three new fields (new economic organizations, new social organizations, and new employment groups). The event took place at the Beijing Women and Children’s Service Center, bringing together over 50 female representatives from these fields.
Du Chunxiao, member of the Party leadership group and Vice President of BWF, and Liao Lingzhu, member of the Party leadership group and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Postal Administration, attended the event, extending their greetings and best wishes to the women in these fields.
During the event, the BWF organized interactive sessions to convey well wishes, care, and support to attendees. Female representatives watched the short video Warm Beijing Bringing Warmth to You and accessed an integrated information service platform via the Beijing “New Warmth” QR code. Attendees also engaged in discussions on career development, friendship, and personal growth, took part in handicraft workshops, and enjoyed professional glamour photography sessions, building up to a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere.
Amid laughter and heartfelt conversations, the women representatives radiated joy, creating a truly warm and celebratory gathering. They expressed their deep appreciation for the BWF, as well as the care and support from social organizations and the wider community. Looking ahead, they pledged to move forward with determination, uniting their strengths to contribute to Beijing’s development.
The event was also attended by leaders from the Beijing Municipal Working Committee for New Employment Groups and New Social Organizations, the Beijing Municipal Working Committee for New Economic Organizations and New Social Organizations, the Beijing Municipal Organization Department, the Beijing Municipal Social Work Commission, the Beijing Municipal Postal Administration, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, and the Beijing Municipal Administration for Market Regulation.
