A Radiant Celebration of Childhood
The gala spotlighted “child-friendliness” as a hallmark of Beijing’s development in the new era, aiming to build an environment that listens to children, values their ideas, and supports their needs. More than 180 participants—children and adults from 15 provinces and cities—came together to deliver a colorful showcase of the arts, including singing, dancing, crosstalk, Chinese traditional music, poetic recitations, and short plays. Each performance was filled with innocence and imagination, showcasing the unique spirit and talent of the young artists.
Notable highlights included the inspirational Dance of the Golden Snake by the China National Children’s Center, the spirited Life in Full Bloom by students from Beijing, Qiyi Primary School’s joyful Blossoming Hearts, and the bold street dance Trendy Brits by Shanghai youth. The lineup also featured regional flair, from Tianjin’s rhythmic kuaiban and Urumqi’s Silk Road Rhythms to Changsha’s heartfelt dance drama Glow of Hunan and Ningbo’s elegant Porcelain Hearts.
More than just a performance, the event was a heartfelt celebration of care and growth—capturing the spirit of companionship and nurturing childhood dreams.

Love in Companionship, Growth in Warmth
More meaningful than material gifts is the expression of genuine care; more lasting than one-time charity is consistent support.
Supported by the Beijing Women and Children’s Development Foundation, the BWF is advancing the second three-year phase of the “Spring Bud Program”, aiming to help more girls gain access to quality education and pursue their dreams.
At the event, the young Spring Bud Guardians stepped up as ambassadors of love, selling handmade toys to raise awareness and share warmth. Their efforts helped weave a supportive safety net for girls’ growth, empowering every budding flower to blossom in the sunlight.
A standout moment came from the Dragon Fist Teens—students from a special education school in Zhengding County, Shijiazhuang—who lit up the stage with a powerful street dance performance. Every move is alive with energy, every beat echoing their determination.
New possibilities arise when technology meets childhood dreams. With support from a Hangzhou-based high-tech firm, an AI-powered bionic hand—controlled via a brain-computer interface—played the piano piece Make Everything Possible. This robotic arm vividly demonstrated how cutting-edge innovation can empower individuals with special needs by providing real-world, transformative support.
At its core, a child-friendly city is built on inclusivity—leaving no one behind.

Three Years of Growing Together with Care
Blending nature with stagecraft, the event created a fresh, immersive experience—where the scent of flowers met glowing lights, and laughter rang out amid warm applause.
With the themes of interactive, familial, and compassionate companionship at its heart, the gala brought the spirit of “togetherness” into every detail, delivering a heartfelt celebration for children.
In the past three years, the BOB has evolved from launching early child-friendly initiatives to becoming a founding member of the Beijing Child-Friendly City Co-Building Alliance—and the first officially recognized child-friendly bank in China. Along this journey, it has grown alongside nearly 2.2 million children and families, fostering mutual care and shared progress.
As a core alliance member, the BOB continues to promote child-friendly banking through a “one-meter perspective” that prioritizes children’s needs. It has built a supportive ecosystem through thoughtfully designed products, personalized services, and inclusive practices.
The bank also explores collaborative governance, engaging government agencies, institutions, and a broad range of stakeholders. With warm and thoughtful services, BOB remains committed to accompanying children’s growth, contributing its expertise and strength to the comprehensive development of a child-friendly Beijing.
