Beijing Women’s Federation’s Cultural Tour to China National Theatre for Children, Part of the “Warmth for Women in the Three New Sectors” Campaign
Date:2025-7-29 14:43:17 Views:On the afternoon of July 26, the Beijing Women’s Federation (BWF) hosted the fourth installment of its 2025 “Warmth for Women in the Three New Sectors” cultural tour at the China National Theatre for Children. Families of women in the three new sectors (new economic organizations, new social organizations, and new employment groups) across the city came together to enjoy an artistic experience themed “A Fairy Tale Journey of Artistic Classics.”
The event opened with an introduction to its theme and purpose. Families then watched a fresh adaptation of the classic fairy tale play, Little Red Riding Hood, performed by the China National Theatre for Children. Blending modern stagecraft with cross-cultural elements, the performance featured vivid characters, striking set designs, and evocative music that transported the children into a magical fairy tale world.
After the curtain fell, many families shared their thoughts. One parent said, “This isn’t just a chance for our children to experience the magic of classic fairy tales—it is a moment for us to connect, laugh, and grow closer as a family.”
This unique cultural tour offered more than just artistic immersion; it deepened parent-child bonds. Through the shared experience of theatrical art, families rediscovered the timeless charm of classic fairy tales, creating joyful and lasting memories together.
The BWF’s “Warmth for Women in the Three New Sectors” cultural tour will continue to bring new and engaging experiences for families of women in the three new sectors. The next stop will take families to a research institute, offering them a taste of academic life to help spark children’s curiosity and ambition.
