“Remember History, Cherish Peace” Red Education Tour Held as Part of 2025 Summer Youth Program

To promote patriotism and carry forward the revolutionary legacy, the Beijing Women’s Federation (BWF) hosted the “Remember History, Cherish Peace” red education tour on August 2 at the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Over 30 families from diverse backgrounds took part in the activity.
Guided by professionals, the families explored the themed exhibition “For National Liberation and World Peace,” with in-depth accounts on important battles, heroic figures, and the historical significance of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Through rare artifacts, lifelike scene recreations, detailed narratives, and archival footage, the immersive experience brought history to life for young visitors, allowing them to connect more deeply with the spirit of the resistance and gain a powerful, lasting understanding of China’s wartime resilience.
In the audio-visual space featuring wartime family letters, children were invited to read aloud letters filled with patriotic resolve. These heartfelt words offered a vivid glimpse into the revolutionary generation’s unwavering faith and selfless dedication, leaving young participants deeply inspired.
The “Remember History, Cherish Peace” red education tour not only deepened children’s understanding of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression but also planted within them the seeds of patriotism and a love for peace.
Going forward, the BWF will continue to host impactful educational programs, enriching both form and content to enable more young people to thrive in the red culture and contribute to the realization of the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
