The program aimed to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key directives on strengthening united front work in the new era, consolidate and broaden the patriotic united front, and further contribute to Beijing’s overarching united front work strategy. The training was jointly hosted by the United Front Work Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Beijing Women’s Federation, and organized by the Beijing Institute of Socialism.
Over 60 female participated in the program, representing democratic parties, the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as non-CPC intellectuals, representatives from non-public sector entities, emerging social groups, ethnic minority groups, and religious communities.
The program featured a comprehensive curriculum that combined political theory with practical relevance, highlighting the alignment of political direction, theoretical insight, and real-world application. Focusing on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, it fully implemented the mandate to incorporate the national policy of gender equality into classroom instruction, and included a dedicated session on work ethic and the guiding principle of the Party’s eight-point frugality code.
Guided by a problem-oriented and demand-driven approach, the program also included forward-looking themed lectures on topics such as artificial intelligence development and international affairs. In addition, participants conducted field visits to Beijing Electric VEHICLE Co., Ltd. and Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd., where they learned about the development of new quality productive forces, deepening their understanding of emerging industries and strengthening their contributions to united front efforts in these domains.
Participants remained highly engaged and enthusiastic throughout the training. Drawing on their professional expertise and real-world experience, they took the initiative to organize a Trainee Forum, where they exchanged insights and shared best practices on topics including healthcare, traditional culture, and industry development. This added depth and interactivity to the program, fostering peer learning and shared growth.
Beyond strengthening the overall capabilities of women’s united front workforce in Beijing, the training program also provided an important platform for cross-sector collaboration, resource sharing, and coordinated development among women leaders across diverse fields, further consolidating broad support for women’s united front work.
