From September 18 to 22, during the 28th Beijing-Taiwan Science and Technology Forum, the Beijing Womens Federation invited a delegation from the Taiwan Womens Elite Alliance and the Kaohsiung Industrial and Commercial Association of Taiwan to Beijing. The visit aimed to strengthen exchanges between women from across the Strait through a sharing session on women’s development and various exchange activities.

At the Beijing Light Science and Technology Museum, the delegation explored the world of light and shadow, interactively experiencing diverse light installations. They learned about light technology solutions and case studies, witnessing firsthand how modern light-shadow technologies blend with artistic expressions.

At the Temple of Heaven, the delegation admired the exquisite craftsmanship of the ancient Chinese architecture. They received detailed explanations of the mortise-and-tenon structure in the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, which showcases the exceptional ingenuity of ancient artisans. Many sisters visiting Beijing for the first time expressed their profound appreciation for Beijings millennia-old cultural heritage and gained a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture.

At Goldwind, the delegation learned about the core business and development model of this leading enterprise in the clean energy sector. They visited key segments, including technological R&D, ecological deployment, wind turbine design, and control systems, witnessing the companys proactive efforts in sustainable development, zero-carbon energy, and green economy. The visit also highlighted the companys sports and recreational facilities open to both employees and the public, as well as family-friendly services such as parent-child activities, which is a vivid demonstration of Goldwinds commitment to integrating green technology with well-being.

At Xiushui Street, the delegation experienced firsthand the integrated development of Beijings commercial culture and fashion trends. They appreciated Guochao (China-Chic) designs that combine traditional embroidery and other Beijing-style crafts with modern aesthetics, while observing the industrial upgrades and commercial trends driven by cultural heritage and innovation.

The delegation members highly appreciated Beijings recent achievements in the digital economy, green technology, and cultural and creative industries. They looked forward to further strengthening future cooperation through technical exchange, project collaboration, and mutual cultural learning, with the aim of sharing Beijings development opportunities and promoting integrated development across the Strait.
