The Party Branch of the Beijing Hongdie Home Volunteer Service Center for Women and Children, a social organization supervised by the Beijing Women’s Federation (BWF), was recently awarded financial support under the 2025 Beijing Social Organization Party Organization.

Under the guidance of the BWF, the Party Branch of the Beijing Hongdie Home Volunteer Service Center for Women and Children has pursued the dual objectives of “stronger leadership through Party building and enhancing service effectiveness.” By adopting a “political guidance + professional service” dual-drive model and implementing the “Three Integrations and Three Enhancements” approach, integrating Party building with operations, Party members with volunteers, and tradition with innovation, the Center has developed a distinctive and socially impactful Party-building service brand with notable results.

The Center closely aligns its Party-building efforts with operational activities, ensuring joint planning, implementation, and evaluation. Party building has helped the Center’s services become more targeted toward the practical needs of women and children. Through initiatives such as the “Red Navigation Project,” the Center combines Party history education with volunteer service, organizing activities like “Revolutionary Stories Telling Sessions”, the “Our Chinese Dream—Bringing Culture to Communities, and red-themed children’s tours. A “Party Building + Projects” linkage mechanism has also been established, with Party members taking the lead in key service roles under flagship programs such as “Children’s Hearts with the Party.”

The Center emphasizes the integration of Party members and volunteers, encouraging joint participation in service activities. Party members play a pioneering and exemplary role, inspiring broader volunteer involvement. In response to the diverse needs of women and children, the Center has introduced the innovative “Double Empowerment for Women” model—“Strong Skills, Good Services.” A “Dual Training Plan” is also in place to develop outstanding volunteers into Party members and Party members into service leaders.

The Center actively explores innovative service models by combining traditional volunteer work with modern technology to improve service precision and effectiveness. Both online and offline channels are utilized: offline “Women’s Service Stations” provide one-stop assistance through Party-member service counters, while online digital platforms such as the “Cloud Classroom” host live Q&A sessions, such as “Dr. Sister’s Science Talks” and “Women’s Legal Awareness Seminars,” extending services directly into communities and households. Programs such as “Young AI Engineers” and “Caring Mothers in Action” have been well received for addressing the real needs of women and children.

Five of the Center’s projects, including the “Great Love for China: Children’s Hearts Toward the Party” red-themed education series, have received municipal-level awards. Over the past year, the Center has recorded more than 100,000 hours of volunteer service, benefiting over 50,000 women and children, and established partnerships with more than 30 enterprises, universities, and communities—significantly enhancing its resource integration capacity. These efforts have not only provided tangible support to women and children but also contributed to social harmony and development.

Through Party-building guidance, the Center’s Party organization has become more robust, marked by improvements in Party members’ quality, as well as in its cohesion and organizational capacity. The Party Branch has fully exercised its core leadership role, ensuring all activities advance in the right direction. Under the BWF’s guidance, the Center has been recognized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Office of the Central Spiritual Civilization Development Steering Commission as a national “Four-domain 100-Model List” in the Learn from Lei Feng Volunteer Service Campaign (specifically Double Models honor: the Best Volunteer Service Organization and Best Volunteer Service Project), as well as the national “Organization for Respecting the Elderly” award, among many others.
