Zhang Yajun, Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Chairperson of the Beijing Women’s Federation, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Xu Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Work Committee for Organs Directly Under the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Municipal Organs Working Committee), provided guidance on relevant work. A total of 122 party members participated, including all in-service and retired members from the federation’s Leading Party Members Group, its organs, and affiliated institutions.

The meeting listened to and reviewed a work report titled “Promoting the High-Quality Development of Women’s Cause in the Capital through High-Quality Party Building Within the Organs and Contributing Women’s Strength to Strive for a New Chapter of Chinese-Style Modernization in Beijing,” delivered by Zhao Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group, Vice Chairperson, and Secretary of the BWF’s Party Committee. The attendees also reviewed written reports on the work of the federation’s Discipline Inspection Commission, as well as on the collection, use, and management of party membership fees. The meeting approved the election procedures for party members. In accordance with these procedures, it elected the federation’s new Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission.

Xu Bin, on behalf of the Municipal Organs Working Committee, extended his congratulations to the newly elected Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission. He fully commended the federation’s achievements in party-building work and outlined specific requirements for their further efforts. In his speech, he emphasized the need to strengthen political progress and take the lead in practicing the “Two Upholds,” as well as to focus on core responsibilities and enhance the integration of party-building with daily work. He also called for upholding strict standards, reinforcing the development of the party member team, and consolidating responsibility mechanisms at all levels to foster a coordinated effort in party-building.

Zhang Yajun, on behalf of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the BWF, outlined key requirements for party-building work within the organization. She emphasized the importance of taking the lead in practicing the “Two Upholds,” keeping in mind that adherence to the Party’s overall leadership is the fundamental guarantee for women’s work. She also noted that the Party’s central tasks define both the theme and direction of women’s work and the federation’s work. She called for leading by example in developing BWF into a model organization that meets high standards and strict requirements to “march well in the front organ echelon”; to improve theoretical armament, conduct effective theoretical study, enhance the relevance of ideological and political work for party members and cadres, strengthen ideological guidance for women, and promote the practical implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era throughout Beijing; to consolidate the grassroots foundation, reinforce the construction of “Four-Strong” party branches (political functions, branch leadership team, party member team, and role performance), integrate party-building with daily work, stimulate vitality in party-building, and forge a strong and effective workforce; and to lead efforts in rectifying poor work styles, enforcing discipline, and combating corruption, strengthen responsibility mechanism, consolidate the achievements of learning and education, and maintain a political environment that combines strict management with care, and incentives with constraints.

The meeting concluded successfully with the singing of The Internationale. Following this, the newly elected Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission each held their first plenary session. During these sessions, Zhao Hongwei was elected Secretary of the Party Committee, Ru Nan as full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Zhang Shijie as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission.
