Beijing Municipal Women’s Federation Holds Themed Party-Day Activity on “Establishing and Practicing a Correct Understanding of Governance Performance”

To thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourses on establishing and practicing a correct understanding of what it means to perform well, and to ensure that the development in women’s and children’s programs in the capital is consistently guided by a correct view of governance performance, the Beijing Municipal Women’s Federation held a themed Party Day activity on June 12 titled “Establishing and Practicing a Correct Understanding of Governance Performance.” The event took place at the Beijing New Era Discipline Education Base for Full and Rigorous Party Self-Governance. Members of the Federation’s leadership team, bureau-level officials, and division-level officials from its offices and affiliated institutions participated in the activity.
At the education base, all participants collectively watched a promotional video on Party discipline building and visited the special exhibition “Safeguarded by Iron Discipline.” Centered on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thought on the Party’s self-revolution and his important discourses on comprehensively strengthening Party discipline, the exhibition presented in-depth analyses of typical cases involving disciplinary and legal violations. It highlighted the risks and hidden dangers arising from distorted views of governance performance, weak discipline awareness, and breaches of rules and bottom lines. The exhibition also systematically showcased the theoretical innovations and practical achievements in Party discipline development since the beginning of the new era. Through the exhibition, participants were encouraged to study, understand, clarify, and abide by Party discipline, and to uphold political integrity among Party members and officials. Participants carefully viewed the exhibits, gained a deeper understanding of the evolution of Party discipline building, reflected on the profound significance of the Party’s self-revolution, further strengthened their Party spirit, and reinforced their ideological foundations.
Participants unanimously agreed that the visit enabled them to draw strength from the Party’s glorious course of discipline building and receive profound ideological education through an immersive learning experience. Taking this themed Party Day activity as an opportunity, they pledged to further strengthen theoretical study, reinforce their ideals and convictions, and cultivate a clean and upright work style of conduct. They committed themselves to internalizing disciplinary requirements and translating them into concrete actions. They also emphasized the importance of further draw lessons from cautionary cases, strengthening education on discipline, political morality, and family values, and intensifying efforts to improve conduct and enforce discipline. With higher standards and more practical measures, they will continue advancing full and rigorous Party self-governance. Participants further stressed the importance of prioritizing implementation, upholding fundamental principles while breaking new ground, advancing the “Five Key Actions”, and delivering the “Six Practical Initiatives”. Through high-quality Party building in government organs, they will provide stronger support for the high-quality development of women’s federation work and unite and mobilize women across the society to contribute their strength to securing a strong start and laying a solid foundation for the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030) period.
