To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and all plenary sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, fully put into practice General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on family values, family education and family tradition, actively explore and improve mechanisms for leveraging the role of family values, family education and family tradition development in primary-level governance, effectively advance the formulation of Beijing's five-year plan for guiding and promoting family education during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and foster high-quality development of family values, family education and family tradition in the capital, the Beijing Women's Federation held the Training Program on Family and Children Work from September 21 to 23, 2026. Persons-in-charge of relevant work from women's federations across all districts of Beijing attended the training program.

During the training, Li Mingshun, Professor from China Women's University, Bian Yufang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor from the Collaborative Innovation Center of Assessment for Basic Education Quality, Beijing Normal University, Liu Yang, Director and Associate Professor of the Institute of Media and Women's Studies of China Women's University and other experts, as well as representatives of the program team of the All-China Women's Federation delivered lectures on topics including Thoroughly Studying and Implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's Expositions on Family Values, Family Education and Family Tradition to Promote High-Quality Development of Family and Children Work in the Capital, Reflections and Suggestions on Family Education Guidance and Service Work during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period, How AI Technology Can Be Integrated into Family and Children Work, and Diverse Applications of "Reading Classics in Scholarly Homes" in Family Work. The training program also arranged video study on Xi Jinping Thought on Party Building and organized participants to receive on-site family-and-children study at Beijing Expo Park and an on-site visit focusing on family tradition development at Huoshaoying Village in Yanqing District Combining theoretical review and practical analysis, the program further enhanced participants' comprehensive capacity for family and children work.

In the course of the training, representatives from women's federations of all districts discussed how to better leverage the role of family values, family education and family tradition development in primary-level governance. They communicated grassroots needs, exchanged work experience, put forward opinions and suggestions, and learned from one another. The meeting also made arrangements for key family and children work and defined priorities for the next stage.

Participants stated that the training program featured a clear theme and strong pertinence, and helped them broaden their theoretical horizons and gain valuable experience through on-site study and case sharing. They believed the training program provided solid guidance for wrapping up ongoing work and scientifically planning key tasks for the next year. Moving forward, they would translate study outcomes into tangible outcomes to drive the innovative development of family and children work in the capital.
