They carried out a Party Day activity themed "Carrying Forward the Spirit of the 'Exam' and Forever Maintaining Integrity," revisiting the glorious history of the "journey to Beijing for the exam," undergoing tempering of Party spirit and education on integrity culture, and drawing strength for progress from the profound revolutionary roots.
All participants successively visited the Shuangqing Villa and Laiqingxuan revolutionary sites, paying homage to the office and living spaces where Comrade Mao Zedong and other older-generation revolutionaries strategized and planned the founding of the nation. They also toured the special exhibition "Forever Youthful Vitality—The Self-Reform Practice of the Communist Party of China During the Xiangshan Period." Through displayed archival materials and expert explanations, everyone deeply studied the two answers of our Party to escaping the historical cycle of rise and fall, appreciated the communists' sense of vigilance in "never becoming Li Zicheng," revisited the profound historical implications contained in the "Two Musts," kept in mind the original aspiration and mission of the Communist Party of China in "journeying to Beijing for the exam," experienced the historical initiative of leading great social revolution through great self-reform, and personally felt the noble character of the older generation of communists in their frugality and wholehearted dedication to the people.

Subsequently, all participants visited the Xiangshan Museum of Founding of New China to tour the special exhibition "Forever Upholding Integrity—The Construction of Integrity Culture of the Communist Party of China Before and After the Founding of New China." Through a large number of precious historical photographs, archival documents, and physical artifacts, the exhibition systematically reviewed the Party's discipline construction and institutional development before and after the founding of New China, the rigorous strengthening of cadre education, and the arduous journey of building a solid defense against corruption and moral degradation. It vividly demonstrated the lofty style of communists in their frugality, self-discipline, dedication to public service, and unwavering integrity, and comprehensively interpreted the distinctive character of the Communist Party of China in daring to engage in self-reform. During the visit, all Party members and cadres were deeply moved as they learned about the revolutionary deeds of Zhang Xiuyan, a pioneer of the northern women's movement and former Secretary of the Women's Committee of the Beiping Municipal Party Committee. She dedicated herself to the cause of women's liberation and embodied the mettle of women who committed themselves to women‑related undertakings in the capital after the founding of the People's Republic of China. The visit served as an immersive on‑site lesson on Party‑history study, ideals‑and‑conviction education and integrity education.
All participants unanimously agreed that this Party Day activity was a spiritual refinement that looked back at the history of the Xiangshan "exam" and calibrated the direction of work. As Party members and cadres of a women's federation in the capital, they must carry forward the spirit of the Xiangshan period's "journey to Beijing for the exam," deeply understand the decisive significance of the "Two Establishments," firmly achieve the "Two Upholds," and unite and guide the vast number of women in the capital to listen to the Party and follow the Party. They must firmly establish and practice a correct understanding of governance performance, keep in mind that "bringing well-being to the people is the greatest achievement," earnestly fulfill the primary responsibilities of guiding, serving, and connecting, deeply cultivate family, family education, and family values, vigorously foster new trends in family civility in the new era, promote integrity culture into families, and solidly advance work in women's development, rights protection, and women's contribution to progress, addressing the urgent concerns of women with dedication. They must keep in mind the "Three Musts," forever maintain the sobriety and resolve of the new era's "exam," strictly observe Party discipline and regulations, forge a capable contingent of Women's Federation cadres with the spirit of self-reform, fulfill their duties with dedication in their posts, work hard with determination and pragmatic action, promote the high-quality development of women's, children's, and family undertakings in the capital, and demonstrate the responsibility of the Women's Federation and contribute women's strength in serving the development of the capital in the new era.
