Date:2026-10-12 19:34:28 Views:On the morning of October 10, the Beijing Women’s Federation held a book sharing and idea exchange event for young cadres, which also served as a study session for its Young Marxists Study Group. Zhou Zhijun, Secretary of Party Leadership Group and Chairwoman of Beijing Women’s Federation, presided over the event and delivered remarks. Representatives of young cadres from the Federation’s offices and affiliated public institutions attended the event.
During the event, six young cadre representatives took turns sharing their reflections on a group Party Day activity at the Xiangshan Museum of Founding of New China, their recent reading insights, and their observations from the National Day holiday. They exchanged views, shared lessons learned from both study and practice, and drew mutual inspiration to strengthen their collective resolve to forge ahead.

After listening carefully to the participants, Ms. Zhou delivered concluding remarks. She emphasized that young cadres are the fresh force and successors of the women’s federations, and should consciously integrate their personal growth into the broader development of the Party and the country’s work for women, achieving self-development by contributing to the cause. She outlined three expectations for young cadres: First, strive for excellence and strengthen professional capabilities through dedicated work. They should proactively expand the boundaries of their work, break away from mindsets of passivity, complacency and inertia, and step out of their “comfort zones”. By continuously building capabilities and accumulating professional knowledge, they should fully unleash their potential in practice, living up to the organization’s cultivation and the prime of their youth. Second, take on the responsibilities of the times through innovation while upholding fundamental principles. They should cherish opportunities for training, field research, visits, and study tours to actively acquire new knowledge and skills. Based on their specific roles, they should promote innovation, temper their Party spirit, and refine their comprehensive capabilities by overcoming challenges, striving to align personal value with social value. Third, grow together and pool women’s strength through unity. They should embrace a holistic approach to their work, strengthen their awareness of the big picture, discard silo mentality, and enhance inter-departmental collaboration. Guided by the philosophy of mutual achievement and moving forward together, they should devote themselves to the Federation’s work with a strong sense of ownership. Ms. Zhou also encouraged young cadres to speak freely and offer practical suggestions, pooling wisdom to promote the high-quality development of programs for women and children in Beijing.
The participants unanimously expressed their commitment to holding themselves to higher standards, putting into practice the principles of striving for excellence, having the courage to shine, and growing together. They pledged to cherish their positions, remain committed to diligent study and reflection, and take initiative. They are determined to translate the insights gained from this exchange into tangible results in their duties, contributing their youthful energy to writing a new chapter in the high-quality development of programs for women and children in Beijing.
