During the past few years, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused negative impacts upon regular exchanges and interactions between women from Beijing and their peers from the Hong Kong SAR, the Macao SAR and Taiwan Province, along with overseas Chinese. BWF proposed to set up a regular online communication mechanism to strengthen interactions among women, help them share ideas, remain positive in the post-pandemic era, and make joint contributions to the cultivation of a strong sense of community among the Chinese people.
