On April 27, seven cadres from the Women’s Federation of Xicheng District helped with registration and maintain order at the three nucleic acid testing sites in Baizhifang sub-district in Beijing.
Women's federations at all levels and women volunteers from all sectors of society have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with all residents in Beijing to combat the latest COVID-19 resurgence, which started on April 22.

Working Around the Clock to Help Carry Out Mass Nucleic Acid Tests
Grassroots women's federations in Fengtai District immediately started their emergency plans for epidemic control and prevention when the district decided to hold three rounds of nucleic acid testing from April 26 to 30.
On the early morning of April 26, community-based women workers and volunteers came to nearby nucleic acid testing sites in Fangzhuang, Youanmen, and Zhujiafen sub-districts, helping medical workers check their equipment, maintaining the normal order of testing, helping residents to register with an app and helping the elderly take tests.
Caring for People with Special Needs
Together with frontline epidemic control workers, women volunteers opened a fast-track channel for the elderly, people with disabilities, pregnant and lying-in women, children and newborns to take nucleic acid testing at Dagao Village in Tongzhou District on April 27.
On the same day, executive members of grassroots women's federations lent a helping hand to the elderly to take nucleic acid tests in the Jingnanjiayuan Residential Community in Fangshan District.

With the support of charity-minded enterprises, the Women's Federation of Chaoyang District brought epidemic control and prevention supplies, which include tea and disinfectant fluid, to women workers in Chaoyang Center for Disease Control and Prevention and several sub-district offices on the afternoon of April 25.
The Women's Federation of Pinggu District on April 26 sent parcels worth about 10,000 yuan to health workers who were going to Chaoyang to conduct nucleic acid tests for residents.
