The year 2022 has been extraordinary. Surmounting the challenges of the COVID-19 epidemic, Beijing hosted the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics Games. The event sent the world a message of our times — Together for a Shared Future.

Beijing Women's Federation and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government hosted an online activity to promote family harmony on the occasion of International Day of Families, which fell on May 15. The activity provides an exchange platform for Chinese and foreign families by holding activities through a mini-program on WeChat and sharing bilingual short videos. Beijing NGO Network for International Exchanges, Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation and Beijing Radio and Television Station (BRTV) gave great support to the activity.

The mini-program has two sections which encourage users to share their poem-reading performances and fitness journals. The Beijing Radio and Television Station will produce radio programs for families participating in the activity and broadcast them through its sports and foreign language channels.
