Volunteer Families Play Their Roles on the Anti-epidemic Front Line in Beijing

She still manages to work as a volunteer in a nearby nucleic acid testing site and aid grassroots workers in the establishment of an online database for storing the information of people living in a large residential community.

He Jungui is a civil servant, and his wife, Li Xiaoling, is deputy director of a residential community in Fengtai District. He Jungui volunteered to take part in epidemic prevention and control work at the grassroots level when the capital city was hit by the latest COVID-19 resurgence in late April. Since then, he has worked together with other frontline workers in the organization of mass nucleic acid testing. Meanwhile, Li has been preoccupied with the organization of local residents to take mass nucleic acid tests and the investigation of any potential clues of viral transmission from a large group of data around the clock. He Yunjie, their son, is a college student. He has signed up for community-level epidemic prevention and control work.
