BWF Convenes Meetings to Strengthen Party-building Work, Management of Social Organizations

To strengthen management and services toward social organizations under its direct leadership, Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) held two meetings recently. Chen Yanping, Member of the Leading Party Group and Vice-President of the BWF, attended and addressed the events.
During the meeting on February 16, BWF organized its Party-building instructors for social organizations to review their efforts in conducting Party-building work and leading social organizations to study and implement the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
In her speech during the meeting, Chen said that BWF should fully grasp the importance of the establishment of Party branches and Party-building instructors in social organizations, deepen the regulated development of Party-building work in social organizations, strengthen the learning of the CPC's new theories and theoretical knowledge relating to Party-building work in social organizations, integrate the Party-building work with the organizations’ main businesses, explore the establishment of integrated and interactive development approaches for Party building, women's federations and social organizations, redouble its efforts in the cultivation of Party-building instructors, adhere to problem-solving approaches, and provide social organizations with precise guidance to ensure the correct direction in their development.
At a meeting on February 21, social organizations under the direct leadership of the BWF reported the progress of their Party-building work and other principal businesses in 2022.
The BWF made arrangements on Party-building affairs in social organizations, the regulated development of social organizations, and its key tasks and objectives in 2023.
Chen stressed that relevant staff should have a thorough understanding of the significance of Party-building work in social organizations, make full use of professional strengths of social organizations in providing women and children with high-quality social services, and help bring the capital city’s work on women and children to a higher level.
