Beijing Women's Federation

Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) conveyed their festive greetings and best wishes to women from all walks of life in celebration of International Women's Day.

Women are creators of human civilization and drivers of social progress and they have made extraordinary achievements across all fields. In 2022, women from all social sectors in Beijing thoroughly studied and implemented the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), fulfilled their obligations in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and the promotion of economic and social development, contributed personal wisdom and strength to the success of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and other large-scale events, and strove to make achievements in the efforts to promote the capital city's high-quality development. Women have demonstrated self-esteem, confidence and self-reliance when pursuing dreams.

Noting that 2023 is the first year to fully implement guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress, BWF called on local women to remain loyal to the CPC, enhance cohesion and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strive in unity to ensure that Beijing will become one of the first cities to achieve socialist modernization, pursue progress, kindness and virtues, give full play to their special roles in social and family life. Women are encouraged to endeavor to be builders of the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, advocates of civic virtues and followers of their dreams, writing a splendid chapter as “half of the sky” in the new era.
