A vocational education program under the Spring Bud Project—Dream of the Future Action initiative was recently launched by the Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) and the Beijing Women & Children Development Foundation in Beijing.
Under the leadership of the All-China Women's Federation, the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) unveiled the Spring Bud project in 1989 to help school-age girls from impoverished families complete their studies.
The newly launched vocational education program aims to help disadvantaged college students acquire various vocational competence and skills and bolster their employment competitiveness and entrepreneurship capabilities.

The program’s first training session recruited 500 needy female college students in the capital city and bring them together at Beijing Polytechnic to study film and TV series production and traditional handicrafts in accordance with market demands. So far, two sessions of the vocational training program have been held, receiving a warm response from trainees and their colleges.
