On the morning of May 7, Beijing Women and Children's Service Center and a capital management center of the People’s Liberation Army held a matchmaking gathering for young single people in the capital city.
The event aimed to fully leverage the strength of women's federations in connecting people, Beijing Women and Children's Service Center has organized a series of matchmaking events to guide young people to nurture positive attitudes toward love and marriage, promote new marriage and childbearing traditions, and foster harmonious families.
The matchmaking event comprised several games and activities, which were designed to demonstrate personal love for the country, and help attendees get to know each other. The event culminated in 19 pairs of young people expressing their intention to see each other again.
In its next step, Beijing Women and Children's Service Center will organize more matchmaking activities for young single people from education, medical, high-tech and new business sectors in a drive to help them find ideal partners and achieve sense of happiness and belonging in the capital city.
