Beijing WM Therapeutics Wins China Final of She Loves Tech Global Competition

Themed "A Year of Transformation," and amid the latest round of sci-tech revolution and industrial transformation, the competition aims to encourage women entrepreneurs to make innovations and start new businesses with science and technology and build a global platform for women to engage in innovation and collaboration. The event comprised 29 sub-competition zones in over 70 countries and regions.
Beijing WM Therapeutics Co. Ltd, which deals with research of brain-related sciences and AI precision medicine, won the China Final of the competition after a series of roadshows, professional comments and oral defense. It will compete with champions from other sub-competition zones in the finale to be held in late October.

It boasts huge market potentials for husbandry and petting sectors. Team FuzFlo made full use of AI technologies to provide enterprises with intelligent databank in actual scenarios. Theteam of the Medical Vision World has fully leveraged imaging technologies to uncover the impact brought by drug metabolism on the human body. The team of Xiamen Fly Gene Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd has developed products and services for people to detect tumors and monitor the recurrence of relevant diseases at home. Beijing Electroencephalogram Technologies has used its brain-machine interface technologies to provide precise and efficient color detection services to people with color weakness and dysopsia. The team of KuuHub has built a personalized and online community for the new-generation business aspirants.

To strengthen the cultivation of young sci-tech talents, the China Final of the She Loves Tech 2023 Global Startup Competition invited two representatives of students who participated in BWF’s “Sci-tech empowers girls” programs to display the achievements of their sci-techh innovation efforts.
Jiang Zhiyao, a sixth-grade primary school student from Haidian district talked about the development of her self-built student association Qing Jin Club that is committed to promoting the recycling of performance costumes and school uniforms. Teng Zehui, a second-grade student of Beijing No.35 High School, spoke about the application of microbial electrochemical technology in the measurement of water quality. Representatives from investment agencies said the two students are keen to discover problems in their lives, give their solutions to social issues, pay attentions to the sustainable development of the environment and resources and dare to engage in innovation. They encouraged the students to stay committed to sciences and become sci-tech talents with great social influence in the future.
