In order to promote and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and fully realize General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the significance of family ties, values and traditions, The Homeland, an exhibition on Chinese family traditions and culture, officially opened to the public at the China Millennium Monument. It was jointly organized by the Beijing Women's Federation, Beijing Gehua Cultural Development Group Co., Ltd., and China Millennium Monument Art Museum.

The Homeland exhibition is held at China Millennium Monument.

The exhibition explores the origin and essence of "home" and is divided into four sections. It expands the dimensions of "home" from various perspectives such as family ties, education, tradition, and homeland. Through visual storytelling and interactive device, the exhibition helps establish the relationship between individuals and their families, society, nation, and the world, prompting visitors to contemplate and explore the theme Homeland. The display of exhibits and the division of contents are closely integrated, extending from the concepts "within a gate," "beneath a roof," "within a courtyard," and "under the sky," allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the intangible power of traditional culture that has been passed down for centuries.

The exhibition features several interactive areas which help visitors understand the long line of inspiring principles of the Chinese nation.

As an important part of the traditional culture section at the China Millennium Monument, the Chinese family tradition and culture exhibition has been presented annually since 2016. In 2023, the exhibition area at the third floor of the monument was transformed into an interactive space that integrates exhibition and education. It also serves as a permanent space for patriotic education and the promotion of clean governance, providing free access to the public.

A forum about family culture is held at China Millennium Monument.

The China Millennium Monument will organize several forums and lectures on "interpreting the concept of home," inviting experts, scholars, and the general public to discuss the meaning of "home." On the opening day, a forum, guided by the Beijing Women's Federation and organized by the China Millennium Monument Art Museum and the BDA School of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, was held to discuss the important topic of education reform and development in the new era from the perspectives of schools, families, and society. It also explored new ways to promote the dissemination of the results of research and exhibitions of family culture in schools and families.
