Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) held an exchange activity with non-CPC parties at Beijing Women and Children's Service Center on the afternoon of March 4 to celebrate the arrival of International Women's Day, which falls on March 8, and further consolidate the strength of women of non-CPC parties.

The gathering drew the attendance of directors or heads, liaison officers and representatives of the working committees on women in non-CPC parties. Vice-President of the BWF Tan Hong attended and addressed the event.

In her speech, Tan extended festive greetings to the working committees on women in non-CPC parties and spoke highly of their efforts and achievements related to the further development of women and children's affairs. She called on them to target the overall work concerning women's growth, march ahead in unity, forge consensus and bring together women toward the high-quality development of the capital city.

During the activity, attendees of non-CPC parties gave shows of their talent in singing, dancing, poetry recitation and the playing of musical instrument to convey their firm belief on the practice of united thinking and action, aspiration for a better and fulfilling life, and determination to move ahead in unity.

Prior to the conclusion of the event, participants also closely watched the making of traditional Chinese incense and the exhibition of traditional Chinese clothing culture to appreciate the charm of the Chinese culture.

The activity helped the working committees on women of non-CPC parties further feel the warmth brought by women's federations and bolster their morale in better serving women and children.
