BWF Holds Meeting on Advancing Loving Mothers-Related Work

Chen Yanping, Vice-President of the BWF, attended the meeting. More than 90 participants, from district-level women's federations and sub-district offices, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the progress of the Loving Mothers' Care Services in accordance with the relevant requirements of ACWF and the progress in Beijing were explained. Some deployments were made for the next steps in advancing the Loving Mothers' Care Services. Representatives from women's federations of Chaoyang District, Wangjing Sub-district (in Chaoyang), and Daxing District respectively shared their experiences in promoting collaborative efforts among families, schools, communities and medical institutions, creating a shared activity venues for Loving Mothers, and effectively coordinating paired caring services.
Chen outlined the requirements and expectations for the future work of Loving Mothers' Care Services. She emphasized the need to enhance the sense of responsibility, and fully recognize that the Loving Mothers' Care Services is an essential function of women's federations to serve children. Chen highlighted the importance of clarifying the work orientation, identifying the entry points, understanding the voluntary nature of Loving Mothers' Care Services, strengthening division of work and cooperation, and continuously offering precise, standard, and institutionalized services. She also emphasized the need to maintain a systematic approach, strengthen overall coordination, enhance work integration and effectively carry out the work.
