Beijing Women's Federation

In the afternoon of July 19, 2013, at the invitation of Dr. Guo Dengna, Director of Resident Office of Russian Cultural Center in China, Zhou Zhijun, Vice Chairwoman of Beijing Women’s Federation, together with other seven representatives from Beijing Women’s International Exchange Center and Beijing Female Artists Sodality, visited Russian Cultural Center in Beijing and attended the opening ceremony of art exhibition — Russian Field drew by Nina Silayeva, Russian female artist. 

Director Guo Dengna accompanied the delegation on the visit of culture center and introduced that Russian Cultural Center in Beijing is the official mission of Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Overseas Russians and International Culture Cooperation Agency of Russian Federation in China, which aims at comprehensively strengthening mutual understandings between Russians and Chinese, promoting the development of friendships and enhancing communication and cooperation of two countries in culture field. He hoped desperately that Russian Cultural Center can deepen the cooperation relationship with Beijing Women’s Federation to promote the cultural exchange between Chinese and Russian women and children.

Zhou Zhijun also introduced the efforts made by Beijing Women’s Federation to promote the cultural exchange between China and Russia to Director Guo Dengna. Afterwards, they exchanged views on how to exert the special role women organizations in promoting cultural exchange between China and Russia and reached preliminary agreement on the cooperation of carrying out Reading Club, Open Day of the Center and other activities in the next half year.
