Friendly Cooperation Relationship Being Built between Beijing Women’s Federation and Women's Association of Republic of the Sudan

In the afternoon on Mar. 26, the heads of relevant departments of Beijing Women’s Federation received Ms. Amal Mohamed, Ambassador of Republic of the Sudan in China and etc., and discussed cooperation on women's handicraft art training, and women’s and children’s philanthropy, etc.
The ambassadress shows high attention to the friendship of the two countries, and introduced the Women's Association of Republic of the Sudan established since 2013. The association consists of wives of diplomatists in the embassy of Republic of the Sudan in China, and focus on cultural exchange and charity activities regarding women, children and families. The ambassadress wished to cooperate with Beijing Women’s Federation more closely through the association, to jointly develop, establish a solid base for exchange and contact of women in both countries, and deepen friendship between the two countries. Also, responsible person of relevant department of Beijing Women’s Federation introduced women’s exchange and cooperation activities of both countries. Furthermore, both sides discussed proposal to provide handicraft art training for the women of Republic of the Sudan in China, jointly hold International Family Day activity, and charity activities etc.
Later, the ambassadress visited Women Artists Workshop’s Works Exhibition, and was amazed by exquisite skills of Women Artists Workshop.
Beijing Women’s Federation has always been constructing an international communication platform regarding women, children and families etc., which prompts communication and cooperation between the embassies of each country in China and the other international organizations. Also, by organizing various activities, Beijing Women’s Federation shows development and achievements regarding women and children in Beijing, and provides rich resources and convenient services for women from each country in Beijing, to make Beijing a more and more compatible, extraordinary and internationalized livable city.
