Students Dedicated Themselvels to Flowers Arrangement Training

Love of Teacher and Students - Flowers of Sisters Friendship between China and Korea Bloom in Full and Splendor

 

         Within the strategic cooperation framework between Beijing Women's Federation and Korea-China Friendship Association of Culture & Economy and based on respective advantages and demands, the two parties jointly launched flower arrangement vocational training as initial cooperation project, aiming to bring in Korean professional training system and experts on flower arrangement technique, improve female’s vocational skills and expand their career fields, and meanwhile to promote communication and cooperation of Sino-Korean women in female development and other fields. The Sino-Korean cooperation in female flower arrangement vocational training received guidance and support from Beijing Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and was included in 2014 Beijing Support Project for Introduction of Foreign Knowledge as a demonstration and popularization project. Beijing Women's Federation and Korea-China Friendship Association of Culture & Economy successfully organized Beijing Women’s Federation Flower Arrangement Vocational Training Demonstration and Popularization Class in Tongzhou, which was themed as “Flowers Blossom at Ease in Harmonious New Town”. Beijing Women's International Center and Tongzhou Women’s Federation were responsible for undertaking the class.
         As the sub-center of Beijing, Tongzhou District has development requirements for establishing a modern new international town and agricultural science and technology park. The project took these requirements into full consideration in overall plan and arrangement, striving to balance high-quality international resources and native demands. The training was made in various ways including on-line and off-line, and focused on combing theory with practice and research with communication. During preparation for the training class, Beijing Women's International Center and Tongzhou Women’s Federation made scientific and rigorous planning in curriculum design, student selection and efficiency of popularization. The curriculum design highlighted expertise, systematicness and chronicity in order to lay a good foundation for introducing Korean flowers arrangement training at introductory, intermediate, and advanced level in the future. The students were selected from various industries such as flower planting, flower shop marketing, floriculture teaching and women’s federation, with a full industry chain that ensured the substantial efficiency and long term development of the training program. Moreover, Sino-Korean Flower Arrangement Artists Seminar was held to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning and enhanced the project’s social influence. In order to ensure the professional authority of the training, Korea-China Friendship Association of Culture & Economy specially invited Jin Zhenshu, a leading expert in Korean flower arrangement industry and president of Korean Flower Art Writer’s Association. Ms. Jin also acted as the supervisor of gardener exam in Korean national technology qualification examination, so she understood quite well about international vocational training system and professional standard of flower arrangement

         Cheng Jingang, Director of Foreign Experts and Foreigner Employment Affairs Center from Beijing Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs, was present at commencement and expressed congratulation on the success of the training class. He said, the flower arrangement vocational training demonstration and popularization project was the first cooperation project between Beijing Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and Beijing Women’s Federation, and also was the Bureau’s first attempt to support female entrepreneurship in introduction of foreign knowledge project. The project successfully integrated overall planning and details, of which student selection, curriculum design and training all received better effect than expected. Zhou Zhijun, Vice Chairman of Beijing Women’s Federation said that by issuing Korean flower arrangement primary certificate to all students, the training not only improved their skills to be international talents, but also promoted the communication and friendship between Chinese and Korean women. Beijing Women’s Federation hoped to introduce more high quality international resources through further cooperation with Beijing Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs to improve women’s vocational skills and that with various international exchange activities held, the women of any age can live as beautiful and confident as flowers.
         Beijing Women’s Federation hoped this professional vocational training could exert a leading and demonstrative effect in flower arrangement industry, and could integrate theory and practice to improve women’s cultural connotation and profession of handicraft, broaden their horizon to reach international standard, so as to help more females to realize their career dreams. Meanwhile, Beijing Women’s Federation will carry out various projects for introduction of foreign knowledge with appropriate focuses step by step based on the characteristics of each county and district. Beijing Women’s Federation and Korea-China Friendship Association of Culture & Economy hoped the flower arrangement activity could witness the friendship between Chinese and Korean women, and they will carry out extensive communication and cooperation in such fields as Chinese and Korean women and children’s development, cultural exchange and vocational training in the future.
