Ambassador Interacted Friendly With Children in Parent-child Library
The ambassador visited Beijing Women and Children Social Services Center in the company of Zhou Zhijun ,Vice Chairman of Beijing Women’s Federation Zhou Zhijun, including housekeeping training base, women salon, smart lady exhibition room, parent- child library and post house of sisters. Zhou Zhijun introduced social public services Beijing Women’s Federation offers to women and children in Beijing, such as rights protection, entrepreneurship and employment, family education, salvation and household service. The ambassador expressed his appreciation and admiration for excellent facilities, service types and elegant handicrafts of smart lady. He also interacted friendly with the children in parent-child library.
In the subsequent discussion, Zhou Zhijun warmly welcomed ambassador and his delegation. She introduced them the general situation about Beijing Women’s Federation and especially the Federation’s efforts in promoting women’s employment and international communication. The ambassador said that he was impressed by the achievements made by Beijing Women’s Federation through the tour. He expressed the high value Bahrain placed on the friendship between China and Bahrain, and Bahraini women organization especially expected further communication with Chinese women organization. He hoped to take this exchange as an opportunity to establish a good communication platform and further promote the relationship and cooperation between the women organizations in two countries.
Zhou Zhijun, on behalf of Beijing Women’s Federation, expressed the aspiration of enhancing understanding between Chinese and Bahraini women. Chinese and Bahraini women organizations were also expected to play as “catalyst” to promote the friendly communication between people of the two countries.
