On the afternoon of December 9, 2014, Beijing Women's Federation received a delegation led by Deisi Noeli Weber Kusztra, president of World Family Organization, at Beijing Women and Children Social Service Center.

Zhou Zhijun, vice chairwoman of Beijing Women's Federation, accompanied the representatives from the World Family Organization to visit the housekeeping training base, Qiaoniang exhibition room, parent-child picture book hall, sister guiding station, and other service facilities, and mainly introduced the work contents of eight services provided by Beijing Women's Federation for women, children and families in Beijing. Ms. Kusztra expressed her heartfelt appreciation and praise for the comprehensive service types for women and children and good facilities as well as the exquisite artware of Qiaoniang.

In the subsequent symposium, both parties conducted an in-depth exchange in relation to establishment of friendly cooperation, conducting family exchange, overseas communication of the experience in entrepreneurship and employment of the women in Beijing, etc. Zhou Zhijun expressed her wish for strengthening connection and development cooperation with the World Family Organization, and introduced the basic situation of Beijing Women's Federation and the measures and achievements made by Beijing Women's Federation in respect of family work, hoping to promote the contact and communication between women in Beijing and women in other countries in the world on the platform of World Family Organization. Ms. Kusztra highly affirmed Beijing Women's Federation’s work in terms of women entrepreneurship and employment, construction of harmonious family, etc., introduced the practices of World Family Organization in respect of promoting women’s quality, building happy family, promoting cultural exchange, etc., and warmly invited Beijing Women's Federation to join the organization. Both parties also made an in-depth discussion of the possibility of carrying out various activities and unanimously agreed to strengthen cooperation and carry out colorful exchange activities centering on family to set up a platform to serve the entrepreneurship and employment of women in various countries.

World Family Organization, also known as the International Union of Family Organization, was founded in Europe in 1947 and headquartered in Paris. It is an international non-governmental organization and has a total of 27 institutions, and members include more than 100 government agencies and non-governmental organizations in more than 60 countries. Beijing Women's Federation was invited to attend the eleventh World Family Summit held by the organization in Zhuhai at the beginning of December. In the future, Beijing Women's Federation will continue to insist on an international visual field, actively develop the exchange and contact with women in other countries in the world and expand the cohesive force and international influence of women's federation, to make contributions to the construction of the capital international exchange center and an international first-rate harmonious and livable city.
