On May 30, 2015, the International Female Technology and Internet Startup Competition co-hosted by Techbase Her Bootcamp and the female initiation exchange club Lean In Beijing was officially launched in the Innovation Works with the guidance of Beijing Women's International Center and Binggo Cafe. Female entrepreneurial teams, as well as nearly 200 people from the media such as CCTV English Channel, BON TV, Caixin Video, China Women's News, etc. were present in the activity.

The competition is the first international startup competition in China for female entrepreneurs and female market products, with candidates of more than 100 female entrepreneurial teams at home and abroad from UK, China, Hong Kong, mainland China, etc., who have either the background of studying in elite schools such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Hong Kong University, Columbia University, Liverpool University, etc., or of years of working experience in large-scale enterprises such as Tencent, Sina, HSBC, etc. The entrepreneurship projects covered a variety of fields including smart hardware, trading platform, mobile social networking, maternal and child e-commerce, health management, environmental protection services, online education, etc.

Zhou Zhijun, vice chairwoman of Beijing Women's Federation, made a warm opening speech. Liu Sisi, founder of the intellectual property legal service e-commerce company zhiguoguo.com shared her entrepreneurial experience. "More and more women are showing their strength and potential with unremitting efforts and results and gradually break the prejudice against female entrepreneurs in the VC circle, which is something to be proud of and the impetus to move on for female entrepreneurs".

The competition selected 20 entrepreneurial teams for the finals on May 30 through processes including pre-competition primary selection, entrepreneurship mentor's coaching, project simulation roadshow, etc.
