2015 “Innovation and Application of Floral Art Skills Program”
for Chinese and South Korean Women was Launched
On the morning of November 12, 2015, the “Innovation and Application of Floral Art Skills Program” for Chinese and South Korean women was launched in Beijing. Being a demonstration & popularization project for the 2015 Beijing program of introducing foreign technical and management talents, the program took place under the guidance of Beijing Women’s Federation, and was supported by Beijing Foreign Experts and Foreigners Employment Center and Korea-China Friendship Association of Culture & Economy, and organized jointly by Beijing Women's International Center, Beijing Women Cadres' School and Beijing Women’s Federation of Xicheng District.
This year’s program, which focused on improving women’s capability of innovation and entrepreneurship and further promoting public innovation and public support, combined resources of domestic and foreign experts, government and social force to satisfy the actual needs of women for enhancing their innovative and entrepreneurial ability. The program was held in Xicheng District, and involved such trainees as the self-employed, representatives of Beijing Smart Lady, flower growers, horticulture workers, all subject to multi-level selection including recommendation by relevant organizations and by netizens, and broadly representative. After the training, the trainees would go through a professional examination conducted by South Korea Floral Art Composers Association, and the relevant vocational qualifications of being an international floral art practitioner would provide them with support for their entrepreneurship and innovation. The program would continue until November 18, with the intention of playing a demonstration and leading role in the foreign talent attraction program on a wider basis through seven-day learning, exchange and achievement demonstration and extension activities, in combination with new media platforms and public good and philanthropy activities.
Wang Shucun, vice-chairwomen of Beijing Women’s Federation, Wang Xu, a member of the standing committee of CPC Xicheng District Committee, representatives of Beijing Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, and leaders of Beijing Women's International Center, Beijing Women Cadres' School and Xicheng District Women's Federation also attended the program.
