Young Leaders Program Wrapped Up in Beijing
Date:2017-8-2 10:20:00 Views:The first graduation ceremony of the Lean In China Young Leaders Program and the Young Leaders Top 20 Summit were held at the Yale Center Beijing on July 13, with the theme of "Globalization Vision, Innovative Thinking and Occupational Quality".
Under the support of Beijing Women's International Center, Lean In China, sponsor of the event, invited the top 20 female students par excellence to take part in the summit and jointly discuss the topics of women's leadership and their development with well-known businesswomen from home and abroad.
At the opening ceremony of the summit, Chen Yuxin, co-founder and president of Lean In China, introduced that the Young Leaders Program was aimed at further exploring the great potential of female university students so as to cultivate more women leaders through seed talents.
Afterwards, the top 20 students were divided into two groups, following Zhu Ying, CEO of Phoenix Entertainment, and Rebecca Chan, vice-president of Retail at Shell Group, to visit the two companies' headquarters.
A series of communications related to women's career development were carried out at the following conference on the same day.
According to the organizer, a total of 100 female university students were finally elected as 'Outstanding Young Leaders' from 1,500 candidates through the one-year-long program, influencing more than 20,000 female students across the country and helping them build their self-confidence and pursue their dreams.
