Beauty of Entrepreneurship: Women's Startup Salon 20th Event Held
Beijing Women's International Center and the female development platform Lean In China jointly organized the 20th event of their Beauty of Entrepreneurship: Women's Startup Salon, at Tech Temple in the Sanlitun area on December 3. The theme of the event was "marching ahead with the world for 40 years."
The event invited three foreign female entrepreneurs — Em Roblin from Canada, Sarah Keenlyside from the UK and Stacy Palestrant of the U.S. — to share their experience of starting businesses in Beijing and discuss the opportunities brought about by reform and opening up.
The audience consisted of around 80 representatives of outstanding female entrepreneurs, senior executives and female college students in Beijing.
The event was also broadcast live online, with a total of 1,200 people watching on the internet.
Over the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, Chinese and foreign women living in the capital have made remarkable achievements in self-growth, career development, and international exchanges.
The event will continue to build a platform for female entrepreneurship exchanges and showcase women's charm in the new era with fresh stories.
