Beijing Women & Children Development Foundation (BWCDF) is the first local public financing foundation for women and children managed by Beijing Women’s Federation (BWF). After the outbreak of the COVID-19, BWCDF launched the Women Donation to Resist Epidemic program on January 28, calling for social donations to Hubei and Beijing.
To care for dedicated frontline health workers departing Beijing to Hubei and their families, the Women Donation to Resist Epidemic program has launched the 99 Commonweal Vegetable program with Dmall (Wu Mart) to donate vegetable on a weekly basis.
A lot of social women and children organizations have mobilized their members to donate since the program was initiated. The Women Donation to Resist Epidemic program raised 4.2038 million Yuan (including those from the 99 Commonweal Vegetable program) and delivered dozens of batches of supplies to Hubei and Beijing as on March 7.
The Women Donation to Resist Epidemic program will contribute to winning the epidemic by providing more support for frontline health workers.
