With malnutrition rates surging and essential services in collapse, many are being forced to resort to increasingly dangerous means to survive.
UN Women, alongside its partner agencies, called for immediate action to end the suffering and to guarantee unrestricted humanitarian access for women and girls.
The agency also urged the release of all detainees, an immediate ceasefire, and a pathway toward lasting peace, expressing its hope that the high-level international conference on the peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue, convened this week at the UN, could mark a turning point toward a two-state solution, ensuring peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians.
