The 13th National Women's Congress (NWC) opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on October 23. Ding Xuexiang, on behalf of the CPC Central Committee, delivered a speech. Ding’s speech was warmly responded by members of the Beijing delegation to the congress.
