On June 4, 2013, Beijing Women’s Federation received friendly a 17-person delegation with Eit Niemi Clement, Director of General Secretary of the General Office of People's Party for Reconstruction and Democracy of the Democratic Republic of Congo (hereinafter referred to as “People's Party”) as the head of the delegation. The People’s Party is the governing party of Congo and built friendly exchange relationship with the Communist Party of China in 2007.
On May 28, 2013, after one month of performance and drama culture activities, 2013 Beijing International Women Festival came to an end in Dayin Theater of Shimao Tianjie.
On May 25, 2013, with the encouraging drums of Mentougou female Taiping drum performance team, “Build harmonious family and realize beautiful dream” — the opening ceremony of Capital Family Culture and Art Festival & Vigorous Walk Activity for Chinese and Foreign Families was held in Mencheng Lake Park, Mentougou District by Beijing Women’s Federation together with Beijing Walking Association and the people’s government of Mentougou District.
During April 15-16 of 2013, Beijing Women’s Federation received friendly 11-person Women's Delegation from Ethiopia with Shitaye Tizazu, Vice Chairwoman of Ethiopian House of People's Representatives and president of women’s team in Congress as the head of the Delegation.Chairwoman Zhao Jinfang accompanied the delegation on visits of the first Beijing Agricultural Carnival in Changping District, Tianrun Garden of Women’s Agriculture Science and Technology Demonstration Base as well as Yulin Farm of Beijing “Learning and Comparison” Demonstration Base.
