In the morning of November 23, 2013, “Reading and Watching” – capital family reading and international culture promotion activity held by Beijing Women’s Federation and Capital Library of China in Children’s Hall of Capital Library of China came to a successful end after lasting for two months.

On October 26, 2013, the “Care Foundation for Left-behind Children”, jointly founded by Beijing Women & Children Development Foundation and Beijing Xiangyun Hospital Management Co., Ltd., was officially launched in Beijing Xiangyun Jingcheng Skin Diseases Hospital.
The annual Beijing Foreign Language Festival was held on October 19 and 20, 2013. On opening ceremony, performers’ fluent spoken English and lively interactive performance in English children play Snow White, English children song Denny Boy, diabolo performance Art of Rotation and other programs selected by Beijing Women’s Federation not only touched many audience, but also showed the great effort Beijing women and families had made to facilitate the construction of foreign language environment in Beijing.
In October, 2013, at the invitation of Barcelona Government, Spain, International Federation of University Women (Geneva Headquarters) and France Protection Association of Women, Beijing Women’s Federation together with a 6-member Negotiation Delegation of Beijing Women’s Development and Cooperation Program visited Spain, Switzerland and France.
