The Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) held a meeting on July 2 to study and discuss the important speech by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Chinese President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, at a ceremony marking the centenary of the CPC, held on July 1. Zhang Yajun, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and President of the BWF, presided over the meeting. Members of BWF's Party theory learning center group, bureau-level directors, heads of departments and affiliated institutions attended the meeting.

As the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) approached, the Beijing Women's Federation (BWF) held a commemorative medal awarding ceremony for its staff bearing five decades of party membership. Twenty-six retired cadres of BWF received the medals.
